Le Nautique Restaurant is a truly exceptional seafood restaurant at the heart of Guernsey’s harbour town, St Peter Port. The Owners Gunter and Theresa Botzenhardt have asked Steve to design restaurant which reflects their current ambience and theme of their restaurant. The newly designed interior along with world-class cuisine, excellent service and a perfect view onto Guernsey’s idyllic harbour and the smaller islands in the distance, is the ultimate eating experience, be it for four people or a party of forty.

This is Steve’s latest restaurant design London, Kobe in Ealing. It is a contemporary interior that Steve wanted to it to look like it would be at home in Tokyo. The mechanical food servery on the top serves dishes on traditional Japanese plates. The clients Andy and Cindy allowed Steve full range to express himself in this design. Steve is delighted with this interior and hopes to be eating in Ealing on a regular basis.

This is a contemporary interior that has classical elements with a minimalist interior, clean fresh walls, an echo of the back bar and slightly retro lighting styles. It sells amazing wines with perfect Italian food. I decided to make the bar the focus of the main room and now people are sitting eating ham on wood boards and drinking there, so it works! The clients, Guzaliya and Nurik gave me complete free reign on this design with a very tight budget, and I am delighted with this interior.

The client said make it look “Chinese”. We did and the final product, I feel, has changed the look of the buffet Chinese restaurant. Nice to have a client that gave us free reign.

Steve Howie Interior Design undertook the design, project management and complete design & build of a new gastro bar and restaurant refurbishment in Warwick, which saw the old run down restaurant transformed into this brand new venture, High Pavement. This new design is a complete departure for Steve Howie Interior Design from its usual style and is a restaurant design that is classical in nature with a very warm interior.
The venue is going from strength to strength and supplies the best food and drink in Warwick!

This is a simple interior, on a client’s very low budget. A new CNC (computer controlled cutting machine) bar front system we designed and built which worked well. The head of Zeus was sculpted and cast by Sean Kenrick, which looked great! His recent work was the body armour for Tom Cruise in his latest movie “All you need is kill” a major sci-fi epic.

Turnmills, our oldest club (now refitted) is a dance venue something reminiscent and inspired by cult David Lynch film ‘Dune’. Gothic features emulate the dark atmosphere of this well-known seminal gay club.

So much has been written about this in ‘Night’ Magazine, ‘Theme’ Mag, and others. Pete’s compulsive obsessive order meant we went wild, he has turned it into a curtain emporium for Goths, a bit odd but so is the Strip club business! I am very proud of this design and epic build job.
